FreeTrainAgate on Linux

Todo:
  • Port the DirectX-specific calls to AgateLib (not far from a 1-to-1 mapping)
  • Confirm WinForms support in AgateLib

Requirements:
  • Mono (1.2.6+)
  • MonoDevelop (1.0+)
  • SVN

To get the AgateLib version of FreeTrain building:
  1. Check out the FreeTrainAgate branch from SVN on Sourceforge:
      Code:
    svn co http://freetrain.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/freetrain/branches/FreeTrainAgate
  2. Open MonoDevelop and 'Open a Solution / File'
  3. Navigate to the FreeTrainAgate directory and choose FreeTrain.sln
  4. F8 to build - it should build fine with plenty of warnings but no errors

It's not runnable yet. I will update these instructions if/when it becomes runnable. :ugeek:

Re: FreeTrainAgate on Linux

There has been very limited movement here. :(

This is the future of FreeTrain but for the moment there are no developers working on it.

If you think you can help, please let me know.
